megolas. Because I can! And also because I was sort of curious to see how many months this year I did actually post. Anyway, it's the first line of the first post in each month this year, with the actual day of the month and occasional notes in italics. Oh, and some of these are actually flocked, but I've not discounted them for that.
Jan 06 Fuck. FuckfuckFUCK. My driving licence has been revoked. [11th - and it was due to the meds I'd been on several months before that, and did get sorted out. Finally!]
Feb 06 Alrighty, I'll bite: Fill out my Johari Window and tell me how you see me. [11th - ahh, memes, how we love thee. Or something.]
Mar 06 I should be working. I should be writing a really easy javascript rollover for this client's site. It will take me all of 5 mins. I like writing code. I'm not doing it. I'm kind of writing fic instead. [2nd - say it with me: pro-cras-tination!]
Apr 06 Msbadgermonkey has decreed this week to be Post Every Day Week. [3rd - And you know what? I should do that again - it was fun. Maybe in the new year.]
May 06 Yesterday I have been mostly.... watching Stargate: Atlantis. [1st - And watching, and watching, and watching. I got through most of the first two seasons in a couple of days, if I remember rightly. Mmmm, shinynewfandom! This post is actually locked & filtered, purely because it was only directed at one person. I was having email probs at the time.]

Jul 06 Haven't been so well for the last while, will probably continue to be not so well for a while longer. [3rd - hence the previous ringing silence, and all. Yes.]
Aug 06 It's funny how these unexpected LJ hiatuses sometimes end up soooo very long. [16th - because this was the first post since the above one on 3rd July. Time flies!]
Sep 06 So, today (or yesterday, technically... why am I still up?) was the trial of "L", the young man who knocked down and killed Dad last year. [19th - oh, yay, cheery subject matter. This one's flocked.]
Oct 06 Still Alive! But still having computer problems that are keeping me offline for far too long. [13th - My poor 'puter still needs sorting out. But there's a nice upgrade of vital things in its near future now.]
Nov 06 So, being me, I got my broadband back, then the next day decided to make a visit to Ms Charlotte.... where I caught a rotten cold. [18th - and blah blah, rambling, etc]
Dec 06 Well, today the Letting Agents came round with a family who wanted to view this flat with a view to renting it once I'm moved into my new one... and they decided to take it. [1st - Ah yes, the moving saga. Well, that whole thing is nearly done, and should be finished this month. So stay tuned, won't y'all!! Erm.]
So that was my year, of sorts. I actually thought before I started that I had only posted in about 6 months - probably cos I've had a few periods of 6 weeks or so of no posting, but those have fallen so that I've posted towards the start of one month and then the end of the next, so there was only actually June when I posted nothing at all. But because it got me curious, I've just counted, and I've made 86 (or 87, including this one) posts in total so far this year. And if I keep going for the rest of the month like I have the last couple of days, I'll probably average out at two a week over the year.
And now I shall bore you with some stats, because like I said, I got curious:

I always forget it was that long ago that I set this up. I tend to have a vague notion in my head that it was a couple of years ago, even though obviously time is doing that thing it does. And moving, while the 'setting up LJ' event stays in the same place. I need to go back and tag my old entries, you know. In fact, I need to sort out my tags in general. Er, where need = geeky obsessive wish. Or something.
