This is a late comment, but I saw something on a comm I'm in and thought of you.
I'm on this LJ comm called crazy_academics (for people with various mental problems who are in college) and someone who had bipolar mentioned that they had absolutely superb luck with a new med. The post's here. I think the med is called Lamictal - anyway, obviously I'm not saying "OMG TAKE THIS MEDICINE IT WORKED FOR TWO PEOPLE!" - but I wondered if you ever heard of it?
