I am here, but not *here*

I forgot to mention, I'm currently challenging myself to my own belated version of NaBloPoMo*... but not here! In fact, I'm posting daily at my blog on my personal site. Maybe I should cross-post to this journal as well, I dunno. Thoughts, anyone? There's an LJ feed set up if you want to keep track that way:

Also, I still haven't quite got my broken tooth sorted out... but it's on the way. I've seen the dentist and have an appointment to go back on Monday. Luckily, the side of my tongue doesn't hurt any more, so the delay isn't a problem. Heh. What a drama I made about nothing! *g*
As well as that, I have an appointment this afternoon, this time with the psychiatrist. I've been up and down (mostly very down) for the last few months, and I really should have seen him sooner, but there was a hiccup somewhere and I didn't get an appointment. I suspect I'm in a mixed state at the moment (leaving the house is still potentially freaky, and yet I'm jittery and quite productive and don't dare watch various TV shows in case I get a bad case of obsessive splodeyhead) and I really would like to be on the way to sorting that out before Christmas. I'm currently writing out some notes of how I've been (because I'm bound to get there and completely forget what I need to tell him) to take with me. I just hope he doesn't try to read them, because it's on an ickle notepad and therefore in tiny drunken spider handwriting.... ;-) Anyhow, I should probably go and grab lunch now - the mother will be here in half an hour to pick me up!
* In case you haven't come across this, it's the blogging version of NaNoWriMo, where you're sposed to post every day in November. Obviously I didn't take part in that, but I decided the other day that I did want to try blogging every day for a month, and since it was 7th December, and that would take me through to 6th Jan (the Twelfth Day of Christmas), I have unvented my own personal challenge, the Festive BloPoMo. Which so far has indeed got a fair bit of rambling about getting ready for Christmas. Ta-daaa!
