And I love *that*! You know what? I haven't crossposted really because I've been weirdly intimidated into a kind of "oh noes my flist is too big, they won't want to read my whifflings" feeling. So I just post on the blog, where hardly anyone ever comments, and it feels safer, somehow. Which makes no actual sense!!
So! I *am* going to be crossposting to here, definitely, every time, unless it's something website / blog specific. I may also crosspost to LJ, because it's silly of me to be thinking that way and I need to reclaim my journal as my space, not other people's. If they don't like me posting all over the place, they can unfollow me. I'm going to be doing some list pruning, too. Does that sound like a plan?
Ugh, whut? Did you manage to turn off automatic renewal? ... My paid account on LJ has finally run out, so they're not getting any more money from me. Feels good! *g*
I thought I had ages ago, but I think maybe it got switched back on when I bought a gift for someone? That's the only thing I can think of. I've deleted my credit card details from the thingy now, but anyway it'll be expired by the time the next renewal rolled around. And I won't be renewing by choice!
If it's only a handful of people, you could add a feed to your reading list here? Unless they only post locked entries...
I hadn't thought of that! Although it's not a few. Seems to be the majority of my flist! I think I need to post an LJ poll asking who else crossposts on DW, and start reading those people only on here to get a better idea of the balance. Because the trouble is, the people who I particularly want to read are the ones with locked posts that I would also particularly want to read. Erm.
I only go to LJ to read a very few communities. For most comms I've set up feeds on DW
