My hair is once again fairly one-colour-all-over, instead of being a graded work in progress. Hoorah! Hasn't actually turned out quite the colour I was intending, but that's OK. I still like it. And this way, it'll give Dad a chance to get used to it before I dye it more outrageously next time. Mwahah! So now, I inflict pictures on you. Aren't you lucky?

Going home, home.  Really home.  Hastings-type home.  In the not-just-for-a-visit kind of way.  I'm done, I've mislaid my pebble, the curse has got me (don't ask).  I'm goin' home.

Maybe not immediately (tomorrow doesn't count as immediate, does it?), but the decision is made.  I've been looking into it (since I came back after Poppa's funeral, actually) and I can sort of almost afford to do it.  Well, OK, I can't, but I'm going to manage it, and it is more financially do-able than I'd feared it would be.  Having the mog makes it a bit harder, as does being on housing benefit, as they both limit my options.  But then, if I was able to be employed, I probably wouldn't be going back quite so soon anyway.  One of the major reasons for me moving back is because I just need the support of my family and the close friends I have down there.  Yes, I have some great friends in this area, but I don't see them that often, and I can't lean on them for the kind of support I need.  Also, even the majority of my good fandom friends in this country are in the South East.  I'll be really sad to move away from megolas and my friends Hannah and Sue, but I'll probably see Megs almost as often anyway, now she's off at uni most of the year *g*.

So, yeah, I'm making a dive off down south tomorrow (no, not for good this time, just cos I really need to right now, and cos I have no hours at work this week), so I'll be in town for my bro's birthday (yay!), and I'll be able to do some more hands-on looking into the whole moving thing.  And get my head a bit straighter than it currently is, and things like that.  That's the plan. :-)
