Where did the last two or three weeks go to? Weh? I spose it's because I was busy, then all-about-the-new-Doctor-Who (on which subject - GIP!), then under the weather. Um. Shall update in more detail shortly, I expect. Have also been enjoying Fingersmith, Casanova (mmmm, David Tennant), Inspector Lynley (barking), and, er, Holby (.... Connie: mrrrrrow).

Right now, though, I'm going to take a deep breath and check my bank account. *wince* Wish me luck....

Yeah but David Tennant as the next Dr Who? I'm worried! I mean I'm sure he could do it really well only I'd still be seeing him a as Cassanova. he'd always be trying to work out how to f*ck the alians not beat them.

Fingersmith is really good. All twists and turns. Honestly, them Victorians!

Mmm, but the other things I've seen him in make me think he could be a fab Doctor. He can definitely do the darker side as well as the mental bits. And with a bit of luck, he'd be using his proper accent. Mmmmmm!

I know, though! I'd seen someone mention that there were a couple of twists in the book, but I nearly fell out of my chair at those! The second one was built up to a bit slower so you could begin to see what was coming when Mrs Whatsit began her speech. I can't wait to see how it concludes!

Did you see David Tenant in "Taking Over the Asylum"? He was excellent, both comic and tragic. "We are loonies and we are prood!" Almost made me proud to be a nutter! ;)

Oh, no, I didn't! Was that in his gorgeous real accent? *drool*

Yes, broad Glaswegian. He was adorable, funny and ultimately tragic. *Sniff* I've never seen such a good show about mental illness.

Naturally both Laura and I fell in love with him! Hate it when that happens! ;)

I love the new Dr. Who!!! only managed to see one episode, but I still ove it. Shame about CE quitting for the next season though.

Also Love your new LJ layout! I haven't replied to much recently, which I feel bad about, but I will be catching up.

Well, I have copies on my hard drive, so if you want me to burn you a CD or two..... :-) Tis a shame about CE going, but I've got high hopes that David Tennant will take it on (and use his proper delicious Scottish accent for it - guh!)

And thanks - it's only one of the generic ones, you know. I think it's a fairly newish one, and I think I customised the colours a bit. Unless that was another one I tried... er.... can't remember now *g*.

I've also been extremely crap about replying and commenting, so don't worry about it at all. Is good to hear from you, whenever!

*hugs*

Hello my lovely, it's good to hear from you again. The fact that it is a happier post than Missing Cat is cream on top. How is the little voyager? I hope not too scarred from his disappearence, and that goes for you too.
Lots of love
Tess

Hey, sweetie - good to hear from you, too. The Evil Furry is absolutely fine, if pretty narked off that I won't let him out at night any more. He did manage to catch a kitty-cold while he was missing, but he's fully recovered now. Horrid beastie ;-)
