I don't think it's wrong. Part of me doesn't belive it either, and I've been right here the whole time! I think it's going to take a while to sink in with me. It seems to be doing so a little more each day.
Dad had a good innings, which is some comfort, and he went out with a bang and not a whimper, which is how he would prefer! He would have hated to partially recover and live on as a dependant invalid, which was the likely outcome if he had been able to hang on. That would've been awful.
