Doctor Who 3x06

soulstarI still have issues calling this "season 3". I'm such a nerdy fangirl, I know, but I really feel it should be either using the accurate season number, or be 10th Doctor S2. Nerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrd.
But anyway. You know, I really do like the Doctor-Martha dynamic. I like Martha lots in general - her being determined not to accept being a tag-along afterthought for him, even though she really wanted to go with him again. I had more to say that was no doubt dead profound and stuff, but it got lost under the "Ooooooo" of Saxon plotting against the Doctor and prejudicing Martha's Mum against him (quite likely by telling a version of truth - after all, travelling with him is dangerous). Also, I am now a pile of squee from the 'Coming Up' trailer for the rest of the season. OMG, it looks so awesome. *ded*
As for this ep, it had more doubtlessly dodgy science, but I don't care: that's not the point, after all. It had Mark Gatiss (ftw!) and it had another look at Martha's family which was something I'd been looking forward to. And the resolution of Martha being on 'just one trip' in the TARDIS. Sweet. Now we can be getting on with it. :-)
I'll be in the corner, watching that trailer another billion times. Bwee!!
